And do what besides hrt? Healthy eating exercises and safer supplements ?
I recommend working with a collaborative physician to discover what else helps besides HRT, such as finding the optimal diet for metabolism and gut rehab, what exercise is best (I recommend 2/3 weight lifting and 1/3 cardio), tracking muscle mass and preserving it, measuring stress and learning how to best navigate it, and taking testosterone if needed! We are also early stage about learning the potential role of other interventions like peptides and biologics for longevity. As always, it’s really important to talk to your doctor. Dr. Sara, what then is needed when hormones are imbalanced? With symptoms. Can a woman stay on estradiol and progesterone after menopause forever? Is the a length of time or age after which it becomes a risk for breast cancer?
While estradiol and progesterone are prescribed together, what about testosterone?

I have been on bio identical hormones and progesterone for about 8 years I am 62. The last month or so I have been experiencing toss and turn nights very little sleep, anxiety very high, My doctor just goes through and ups my hormones and progesterone. Does not seem to help. Im going to read all of your literature and see what testing is mandatory to figure out how to feel normal again and stop being so out of sorts. Do you have a protocol for this type of issues and testing I need to ask for or even have you as my Doctor which would be amazing. I have never felt so bad as I do now. I am looking or some help.
